There was one big ferry terminal at Nathon plus this one just two kilometers south of Nathon. Ferries ran quite frequently during the day. Vacationers could easily bring their cars from the mainland to their resorts but most ferry passengers did not bring vehicles. Public transportation on the island included rental cars, rental motorbikes, taxi cars, motorcycle taxis and (definitely cheapest) songthaews.
